Some methods are just small and gives you enough cash for a day if done in the right way. Not everyone is making social media accounts, or contacting companies. Some guys are looking for independent, no cost, no investment methods. I posted a method 2-3 months ago which was giving me 20-30 dollars a day. I posted that here if you wanna check

If you know your method can't be scaled or if it's a little side income for some days why would you sell it and saturated your own method? I don't know the method you posted so I can't really judge but most people's method on BHW can be scaled if they work hard(and they maybe did it and sell it when they saw they can't milk the niche anymore), that's why I asked why they sell it. I totally understand your point no worries and thanks to share useful content/method with people

I shouldn't generalize but 90% of the methods since 20 years are most of the time rehashed or already well know from everyone or available for free on BHW/Internet

A) Not every method is super scaleable, some are a total pain in the ass to automate, whether that be by bots, or VA's. You underestimate how much effort needs to be put into building a team, efficient systems, organization, and constant communication.

B) Selling an ebook online surely isn't earning peanuts. You have to realize that a lot of the guys who sell them don't only sell them on BHW, it's just one of the means by which they market it. I sell my ebooks off-site on TikTok and earn a very good income from that... It's an amazing side income made by educating others, diversification of income is the logical thing to do as a person who relies on the Internet to make money.

C) I agree that if the method you sell will ruin your hustle due to increasing competition, it's a stupid move. But not all methods are like that... If you make $100k/month growing Instagram pages, putting out an Instagram growth guide won't affect your business at all.

Instagram growth guide and method to earn money are totally different :). I have nothing against legitimate guides full of useful information. I only target the people who sell method with clickbait title and false promise

I mean the purpose of growing accounts is to make money haha. He could easily title that guide that said "How I make $100k/month growing Instagram pages" and have the same exact contents, and it wouldn't be clickbait. It's still a business at the end of the day, whatever gets the most clicks without being false advertisement, is the title you should choose.

Conjecting was pretty adamant he would not update the prospecting part of his guide and now you are saying he did and it “yields tens of thousands of new businesses per day” ?

No, he never sent the refund, just faked it, I assume to try and get the shitlist closed.

Yes he updated and the method is good again i added some twists to it to make it way better

He would have made so much more $ selling his method if he would just refund you and not breaking bhw rules
 
This is quite a sore spot for me too because I bought bad guides before from this forum.

Wish that there’s a review system before guides are able to be published, not just reviewed by page number, word count, font size and total use of images…

I think a partial copy of the guide may help, parts of the guide like some pages should be made public as a mandatory requirement for publishing the guide.

This way even if the pages are irrelevant we can see if the guide actually something that has been put an effort by the guide owner. If it looks like something of a rubbish chances are maybe the guide is as shitty as it is.
 
I now remember a year or two ago, I did buy 1 or 2 earnings methods guides here at BHW. However, I did not find the guides useful or perhaps they were not doable by me. I just forgot about it and moved on. In internet marketing, just as in life, there is always some "wastage" somewhere. Another aspect to consider is that different people may implement the same thing in different ways, depending on their individual comprehension(s) of what is mentioned in a guide, so results would differ, time periods for any results would differ, etc. Anyways, I am sure that there are also guides here in BHW which have earned people money.
 
Here is a thought, that i hope benefits all...

I have been involved in a couple of shitlists recently, this one and one that was never made public.

I won both shitlists and in both cases the seller agreed to a refund, but never actually issued one.

I ALWAYS try to purchase anything online with a credit card. This way the credit card company actually purchases the product / service on my behalf and gives me credit to pay them back. If i dont get what was advertised by law they cannot charge me for it and have to credit the amount back to my card via a chargeback. So i got my money back on both.

Never used a credit card. Did not know this :) For some reason I've always preferred debit credit, and lately I'm discovering the goodness of credit cards. I must issue one soon.

A debit card is your money, a credit card is the banks money.

The banks dont fight for your money only theirs :)

Nobody can fight back against the issuing bank, else they run the risk of being banned from accepting mastercard / visa and that would ruin any online business.

In my both my cases the merchant processor happened to be paypal.

The bank bitch slapped them and within 24 hours paypal gave back the money and i assume is going after both merchants for it. In any event it is paypals problem now.

I'm uncertain if this applies to all countries. My mother always used CCs and she had problems with refunds. And every time she got a refund, that could be counted with the fingers of one hand, she was covered through a credit card assurance policy, not the credit card company itself, but after contacting with the bank branch office director and issuing through the local police office and a shit ton of actions to make this work.

So, I'm not sure to which extent this protection goes. At least in my country, it is not enough to call the bank and say "I want a refund, thanks".

What are generally your steps? Do you have to issue a demand in the police also, and all that things? What about those pesky sellers from strange countries without jurisdiction? How they agree that the product is a scam.

I cannot speak for your specific instance. But you cant just ask for a refund and get it no matter what.

As i said a credit card is the banks money not yours. They are buying it on your behalf. So, typically you need to demonstrate you never received the product or the merchant agrees to refund, but does not, which was my case with shit lists, which is what i showed them. Do that and they cannot legally charge you for it. I am in europe and that is the law.

Kind of off topic but @GringoMonkey is right
Not only with a credit card you can dispute the transaction (chargeback) , with my american express I typically win all the chargebacks I issue
I once ordered 5k worth of goods from china using my amex, the seller never shipped it and I just disputed it , they gave me all of the money back. If I would have used a debit card that money would be gone.

Plus with a credit card u get points and money back... so its kinda dumb not to use it

Definitely. I think I've simply never had the time to check this thoroughly.

But what it surprises me that you simply call the bank and say "my goods have not been shipped" and they return you the money… And if the goods have been shipped and you already have them and you are simply trying to scam the seller?

At least in my country you have to issue in the police a claim for almost anything wrong that happens to you. They break your car window and rob anything? Before the insurance company pays you, you have to go to the police. For CCs? It seems that you have to go to the police first. And after, and only after they will be consider giving your money. Filling the claim in the police is like saying: "If I'm lying, I will be in a serious problem" because at least in my country lying to the police is a serious crime. (I'm also from EU)

Yeah, and what about police lying to you ? I have lived in EU (The Netherlands) for a couple of years, even there it was like f__k the police. (But, ofcourse, don't f__k with the law). And f__k the police when the police f__ks with the law.
