It has a mortality rate lower than regular flu so unless you are gonna be shitting it every time someone you know gets the flu I suggest relaxing and maybe ignoring it like everyone does with the regular flu. ( apart from those who are in the at risk categories, people with low immune systems)

FYI: As mentioned above it's less severe than flu. The doctor said to stay home for couple of days keep hydrated and that's it and only seek help if high fever and throwing up get worst.
My kids were given antibiotics only because they have asthma. Usually Only kids under 2 or people with chronicle illnesses or week immune system (like people with cancer or HIV) are given antibiotics.
I don't see what all the buzz in the media is about. Nile virus is bad but this is less dangerous than influenza!
