Shit Backlinks And Still Ranking ! How ?

I was checking the competitor links and i was amazed how this guy is ranking #3 for the keyword.
The Links are total shit and all the anchors are viagra and adult movies.
And one more thing , the content is just so unrelated to the site.

Shitty BLs still work and will probably always work, at least to some extent, but the anchors and unrelated content makes this one really interesting. Do you know how long he is already ranking?
 
If spam and churn and burn were no longer working, tools like GSA and Scrapebox would have become obsolete. Churn and burn will continue to work because there will always be loopholes in the algorithm.
 
That site is about a game hacks and cheats. So it`s under old-school neg seo attack. Let`s see if it still works that way - just keep an eye on its ranks.
 
As i was tracking that kw for past 2 months that website was first whole time wihout any backlinks on it now somebody done neg seo on him and maybe he dropped few positions. He was doing 301 redirect to rank. I dont know does it working now after this sandbox but it worked few months before.
 
that site for brave frontier hack/cheats,and i think it's ranking no 1 or maybe the current position for the keyword,then some one neg seo him,well if this site still ranking in future, we can conclude that neg seo does not work anymore.
