I want to cut the price of shipping so i decided that i'll start shipping my items with normal mail (i mean just a white envelope with a stamp and a too and from on it). Problem is do you think buyers will complain about this? i would think they'll be happy because i'll be able to cut the price very low (maybe even the lowest on ebay). The cost of shipping will only be 50 cents (1 forever stamp because the item only weighs 0.8oz).

What are you shipping and what are you using now?

I don't think anybody will mind if it brings down the shipping cost as long as the item is protected.

I'm shipping acne extractors and currently i'm using bubble mailers. My items are made from stainless steel so i doubt they'll break from being dropped or anything.

I just had to look up acne extractor, if it is the stainless steel rod/needle type things then you might be OK unless they can poke through or rip the envelope. If they are packaged on cardboard/plastic then it should be fine.

Test a few and ask for feedback on the packaging.

It's fine, ship out 100 items a day in plain packaging with no packing list. Just have your order management system send tracking and FAQ info. Resellers like it because they don't have to open the package.

Alright i looked up how letters are sent (since this will be going through letter transportation) and i don't think this will work. My items are rigid and do not bend, in the video i see USPS machines bending the letters to sort them out and i don't know what problem this will cause....i used the postal calculator and it says i need to pay 0.70 because of the rigid but how do i do that? do i just put 2 forever stamps on it? (that will be $0.98).

Yes!~! Very good point. I use to just sell on EB and buy from other EB sellers. And "NO packing slip" is the best.

EDIT: I just read your last post. Make a new stealth account and ship 10 items and see what your feedback/issues are. Or you could ship a few to yourself and see what happens. If you could save a few bucks it can make a difference in sales volume and beating your competition.

That's the best idea! Ship a couple to your address and see if they arrive. You're talking about a cheap product and cheap shipping.

I never ship anything with a stamp when i'm selling on eBay.

Because when you do your not able to put any tracking on the package and most of the time your buyer will scam you and say they never received the package.

Also when shipping with a stamp your taking the risk of the mail carrier opening the package and stealing the contents inside.

i read you are shipping acne extractor and it is a long needle shaped thing... although dropping will not damage it.. there is possibility of it ripping the envelope... can you use bubble wrap and then that in the envelope? this would also cost less....

I would use envelopes with bubble wrap padding. Even if the padding isn't protecting anything it would at least seem like you put thought into the safety of the object. I buy my padded envelopes in job lots of 500+ because it works out cheaper.
