My dropshipper for some reason has no stock left for an item if shipping to Russia.
But if I change destination to United States address, they have the item in stock.

So I was thinking if there was a way for me to order this product to a US rerouting shipping
service so they can then ship the package to russia.

I'm not part of the ebay global shipping program (which I believe is exactly what I just described.... you ship the item to ebay's global shipping warehouse and then they will ship it out internationally on your behalf). But is there another shipping service that can do this?

Would you still be able to make a profit though?

1. Shipping from the location of your dropshipper to USA can be cheap/free, but from USA to Russia won't be, think around $30 for a 1 kg package or more if it's something bigger. Plus if it's standard shipping, this "little" detour can easily add two weeks or more to the shipping time.
2. And if that isn't enough, Russia doesn't have a de minimis value, which means that duties & taxes apply on every item reaching the country. It's 18% for most goods. It's payable by the buyer of course, but it's another thing you may need to take into consideration with the pricing.

I have found that packages can be held a Russia customs for a long time, I sent an item tracked and for 3 weeks it waited at Moscow sorting centre before finally being released to the recipient. I was almost about to resend the item because I thought i had got lost.
