    Howdy,

Been trying to figure out a paypal alternative, but for selling on my site paypal seems to have lowest fees and most used solution. I've also had paypal dispute some "claimed" unauthorized chargebacks. Don't know yet if I'll win yet, but gives me a little more faith in them.

To cover my bases on higher priced transactions:
-Require scanned ID (to protect from real unauthorized purchases)
-Ship a CD with some info on the purchase on it (to have shipping proof)

The hope being, paypal supposed protects sellers of tangible goods when an unauthorized purchase happens and a buyer can't dispute having not received their purchase since I have the tracking number. Should fully protect me, yes?

I could see some people not wanting to show a scanned ID, so without the ID, but the CD shipped, I should still have full protection from paypal?

Please correct me if wrong. :)
