Shifts in User Behavior

Recently I've seen an intriguing trend on a number of platforms people tend to interact more with posts that aren't perfect than those that are. Random thoughts, short clips, and unplanned events all work better than the things I really plan out. Does anyone else sense this trend toward raw over refined? I'm wondering if the audiences I'm aiming for are the only ones.
