Shifting to Russia next year.

I've never been to Russia so I have nothing say except good luck. It would be interesting to hear about your experiences after you've spent some more time there. I have a bias against Russians (probably because they occupied the country where I was born) but in business I've had only good experiences with Russians, so it would be good to hear something more about the regular life there, not just the political stuff that's everywhere.

well i know a story russian mafia bribed fbi director so i guess, idk,

russian government and mafia are tied, mafia can't do nothing without the government and opposite.
basically steal and cover, or i dont cover or cover but you can't steal

Probably yes

Be careful whatever you do so you don't find yourself in a situation where leaving Russia would be risky for you. Stay away from anything illegal, at least anything that could make you a person of interest in any criminal investigation.
Yep, pretty much
