I have a 500k page. 3 Weeks back my page started getting amazing likes , shares and reach(like 1k+ likes, 500 shares) on every post but then since yesterday it's as good as dead. I'm getting 10 likes and 240 reach. I did not post any links. What happened? What changed? What should i do now?

Anyone with valuable inputs? Please post.

Same happened to me seems your niched has stopped trending or there has been a Manual penalty to your Fb Page

Manual penalty? Something like that exists? And No, other pages of my niche are working just fine.

Has there been any change in the amount of your new page likes (I mean people adding to your 500K+ page likes rather than liking individual posts)?

I don't have any answers, but I posted earlier today on likes from page suggestions decreasing.

I was never really getting major likes from page suggestions but NO, nothing unusual on that end. My page is like dead now .. I am hardly getting 20 likes per post.

Facebook stocks need more boost. If you know what I am talking about you will understand

Eliminate reach = you have to buy ads. Facebook advertising is 100% fraudulent - they give you fake likes, fake engagement, fake shares.

They are the most corrupt organization...but nothing will happen to them because they have the right organizations in their pocket (and they have info on every single person that is priceless)

I have spent quite a bit of money on fb ads but still now i am facing this.

Same happened to me but with a 1.5 million page. Was getting 10k likes a post and from a week to today i only get between 10 to 1000 likes/shares..

Its fucking frustrating

I am experiencing a similar situation. My page has 17k likes and i am reaching like < 1% of my audience, even with plain text posts. Do penalties exist on Facebook? Is their a way to find out if they have hit your page with one? I deal with a business located in the US that markets to many different foreign countries. I wonder if this has something to do with Facebooks action against my page :/

Organic reach is always declining, but do note that 2 weeks ago FB changed some stuff that will get your reach down if you don't change your posting style:

FB announced that starting 1st Jan, all posts that are direct selling posts will have much lower reach, as they give little value to fans.

This is from their official statement:
An Update to News Feed (November 15, 2014)
Beginning in January 2015, people will see less of this type of content in their News Feeds:
1. Posts that solely push people to buy a product or install an app
2. Posts that push people to enter promotions and sweepstakes with no real context
3. Posts that reuse the exact same content from ads

I hope this helps.

I have an idea. Use literally any other social network that doesn't make you pay to show your own goddamn followers your content. Problem solved.
