saw them advertised on here

5 bucks a month for unlimited website hosting

sounds way too good to be true

my first thought is that is that the bandwidth has to be shared across the board (and not very plentiful) for this to work

has anyone tried them?

we'll what I can say Is their the norm really. most hosts offer what they do.

I've been there. Fast servers, but the limitation is quite low unlike hostgator. You'll get easily suspended if you have thousand visitors a day

It's not too good. Many hosts offer less than $5/month.

thats not right mate. I've been with hostgator since 2 years running my autoblogs. they are all fine.

I recommend webhostingpad. They have been really good to me.

try hosting24. unlimited web hosting doesn't mean that you can deliver high traffic on it, because that is a shared server.

Nah, they're Sharks mate !!!! lol

Check out reviews for them over at WebHostingTalk forums.....

I am pretty sure xpressioniz is talking about sharkspace and not hostgator. I could be wrong but take another look. They never mention hostgator and no one before them mentions it either.

As far as sharkspace goes I can't really say because I have not tried them out but looking at some stats their claim of "SECURE, BLAZING FAST AND RELIABLE" does seem to hold up but that $5/month plan is for only 10gb. I have a single blog that could burn through that in two weeks. From there the price jumps to $8.95 for a 500 gb package but there are other hosts for cheaper.
