Sharing your own pages

So I use a lot of fanpages and share back and forth between them to help them grow and what not. I see a lot of people delete links to other facebook pages after a while and I'm wondering does leaving links to other facebook pages decrease reach or increase chance of page getting banned? I assumed outside links would hurt growth but not sure how other facebook pages affects it!

Increase chance of getting banned. S4s is not alowed by facebook, if they catch you they will ban the page.

Do you know maybe is facebook like pop up box on a website with timer allowed?

Yea but how they determine the difference between me legit sharing something on my fanpage I deemed interesting and me sharing a page purely to just grow the other page

It's allowed, my friends page was spammed with porn for over 12 hours and he lost 15 k likes and he never got his page banned, the person he added as content creator he thought would help post with him when he went to sleep and woke up he found that he had spammed porn and his page became extremely unactive.
