Sharing proxies with criminals

I have a question: Do I put myself to risk if I use shared proxy ips and those ips are used by criminals?

Extreme example: If lets say a pedophile uses the same shared proxy like me, can I expect the police to be knocking on my door soon ?

The reason I ask this is that I want to buy some proxy ips but I'm not sure if I want dedicated or shared ones.

I'm mainly talking about proxies sold by companies but any input would be nice.

Good question. What would they find on your computer if they did come knocking?
 
Just go with semi dedicated or dedicated proxy..here on BST section lots of quality seller is selling the proxy..never use shared proxy , it's wasting of time and effort.

Why do you think its a waste of time ?
 
i recommend you to take Dedicated or shared just make sure those anonymous proxy then it will be no problem for you because it will not gonna leak your info ;)
 
I never use same proxies as pedophile
Otherwise you can expect pedophile to be knocking on your door soon...
 
I think you will be just fine proxy providers keep detailed logs for just this reason, and to protect them selfs as well.

OP, Why exactly you gave pedophile as an example? The guy could of have been any other criminal you might think up...

Maybe ... because I AM A PEDOPHILE HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. It was just an example. If I gave another example, impersination, fraud,whatever, I would be accused of that now ? Simple minded idiots. I'm just a noob and I'm wondering about proxies.

Thread can be closed, my question is answered.
 
I heard you can share income with whoever is using the shared proxy, I even heard you can share their wife.

Remember, if you use shared proxies, hide your wife, hide your kids.

in they wanted to cops will get your real ip. cops will get the pedos real ip. cops will get proxy logs (if any).

so they will be able to distinguish the different users using the proxy and what they've been doing.
 
I can understand your worries, but if you don't use shady proxy providers the chance is really low to use the same proxies as criminals. They are not interested in normal proxies as they want IP logging to be turned off.

Good question :))
shared proxies are used for seo, scraping and not by pedophiles, but this is not impossible ! i think a pedophile will hide behind a VPN, because his internet connection will be encrypted and his ISP will not be able to trace it !
