Anyone with some information that is not public, from private companies, that may help other users in their business dealings?

I'll start. This concerning payment methods:
PayPal fees are negociable. With over 200k monthly turnover you can negociate to 1.6% fee. Some giant customers of PayPal pay less than 1% in PayPal fee, but you would need to gross over 500 million €/year with them.
Customer credit cards are also negociable. For European credit cards the cost of the processors can be as low as 0.3%, and if you give enough volume, they may have very thin margins, reselling for as low as 0.4%.
