No. On the contrary, its a good thing.
Though autosharing using some sites or wordpress plugins could result in lower reach.

good idea to promote always, no harm in my opinion unless you're posting more than 3 times a day

Oh i forgot to say that "With using Autosharing wordpress plugin" (Blog2Social)
10 months ago I started a my first website. I used this method sharing every post on social media with autosharing wordpress plugin Blog2Social. In the beginning everything was fine my posts was getting indexed and was showing in the first or second page. But after 3-4 month everything is changed. My site completely disappeared from google search results. Even with post name + site name was not showing any result. (Still same) But search console shows otherwise.
Looks like something happened after february 23...
I was posting books with their default book description from amazon
I think my site got a spam penalty because of copy content?

It’s a good idea to share in social media. You will get traffic to your website (not much) but it’s always good to build your social media presence

It says Average position as 34. Look at the 3rd page in the google results
Already did that. Searched until to the last page. Not a sign of my site

Do site:yoursite.com on google and see if still indexed. If you copied amazon content wouldnt be surprised It got deindexed
It shows 3 index since months. But search console shows 12K indexed. Also they show on google when i put the full link on google.

Try incognito mode and put sitename and article title see if you find it in serp
