Shared Server IP vs. Dedicated Server IP?

I have about 10 sites on a shared hosting plan with WP on them.

It seems during the day, during peak usage page load time is SLOW. At night time they open up with ease.

Are there any page load benefits to dedicated server IP. Or just the SEO benefits of not being associated with any scammy or spammy sites?

I think if you have dedicated servers your site loads faster, etc. because it's not associated with other sites like "shared" hosting plans are.

I don't know about SEO benefits, don't think it will do anything because at the end of the day its all about backlinks.
