Do you guys use shared or dedicated hosting for your landing pages? I was reading today that you shouldn't use shared hosting when you're paying for traffic.

Shared hosting is fine, until your site/sites become too large and outgrow it.

How much traffic are you expecting ?
How much are you paying for the traffic ?
What type of traffic is it ?

Not a lot. I'm just starting with ppc. I wanted to get Prosper202 set up before I started sending traffic to it. I have Hostgator shared hosting, and was debating on a VPS. Honestly, I'd only have one campaign at first. So, I did not think it would be worth it to get a vps right now.

Nah, don't worry about the VPS just yet. Unless you have a big PPC budget, just start your campaign on shared hosting, and monitor closely. It will be quite obvious if you need the power of a VPS, but just starting out you most likely will not.

And don't even think about dedicated hosting yet :p

That's what I figured. It will be a couple of months before I'll need VPS. I can't get friggin Prosper202 installed on Hostgator, though. Will it work correctly with shared?
