I'm looking for some shared hosting to host landing pages and a few PDD based sites(original content), I've been looking at Bluehost or Dreamhost, I used to use Hostgator in the past but am looking for a new provider, something along the lines of the plans Bluehost or Dreamhost with unlimited bandwidth/domains/one click installs of WP etc. Recommendations anyone?

I'm currently using SimplixHost.com, I don't think they have unlimited plans but they do have one click wordpress installation and really nice people for support.

I tried both of them in the past, but the quality of their services just suck. I have used hostgator for the last year without any problem, no downtimes and ontime 24/7 support. I don't think there is a better shared hosting provider out there. All the hosting companies that you see on the top 10-100 hosting sites they are all scams and try to rip people to buy 1 year of bad quality hosting.

You can also try managed VPS or unmanaged, way better :)

Made a thread about this earlier... AwardSpace is having a massive sale. Basically, $0.33/m and you get a free domain. Unlimited traffic and disk space is included. I am hosting over 7 sites with them, and have no issues whatsoever. Great host. Oh, and they have one-click WP installation!

Mate go with fatcow, very cheap hosting, decent price for domain names, unlimited bandwidth and space, I've used them before, and I have no complains.

I thought Hostgator is fine. =/

Well if you're looking for a new one, I'd say GoDaddy :)

nothing matches Hostgator, there was this instance when there was a malware infection on my site through some footer.php file and the tech actually fixed up the code. I am their customer for life now. :)

I try to stay away from those unlimited offers, you have to read the terms carefully cause companies like hostgator and dreamhost will suspend you if you use a certain amount of CPU/Memory. The term unlimited is just a catch for suckers =P

I used Dreamhost and Bluehost for one click Wordpress installations and was happy with them. If you would like to go for Dreamhost I have discount coupons up to %50, just let me know.
