Shared hosting for main web and landing page

Hello,

I've recently encountered a dillema. My main website, which is blog, is currently on shared hosting plan on Siteground. I am looking to create a landing page as a different domain on the same shared hosting plan to promote a product by spamming on social media platforms and other methods.

Question is - will it affect my main site's SEO/google rankings? Can my main site get banned and removed for that reason?

I don't want to pay for another web hosting plan just for landing page. Perhaps there are other ways around it?

As long as it is a different domain, you should be fine.

If you were to use a subdomain, there would eventually be an issue depending on how much spam you've done.
 
If you use one of those tools to see who else is on your server, you will be surprised, its probably hundreds of other people, so it shouldn't be a problem, as it would affect them also, (not going to happen)
 
Site ground charge a hell lot for shared hosting before someone would consider migrating.. Like somewhere around $60/Y is a great deal..
 
shouldn't be a problem. think about it this way: its shared hosting, you are already sharing it with lots of people, some of them are bound to be spammy. if what other sites do in the hosting affected each site in the hosting, it would take 1 spammy dude to sink a ton of sites haha
 
It won't be a problem as long as it's another domain in another folder, unaccessible from the "first" domain.
 
In most cases it won't affect. Still it is suggested to get another domain is even better option.
