Im signed as Affiliate. Do you want white traffic ir black hat traffic? If you provide datafeed try to keep it with great quality and with all fields filled.
Also try to offer big comission %, i normally choose merchants above 10%. I think others will do the same. Also if your aos is big more Affiliates will try to promote your Program.

I'll be the third to chime in on ShareASale being an utter waste of time. Stick with Amazon, linkshare (now Rakuten), cj.com, Avantlink, and Impact Radius. I've been making a good living doing affiliate marketing since 1996 and don't think I ever earned a penny from ShareASale, even back when affiliate marketing was CAKE and there were very few people doing it... Just my 2 cents..

    Hey guys,

i'm relatively new to affiliate networks. i recently signed up for SAS and offer 15% commissions on an AOS of $78. I can even move that commission upwards if the performance is there and consistent.

I'm looking to attract affiliates that aren't coupon sites. I'm good with black hat traffic as long as theres no fraud. heck, i wouldn't mind being on dating sites. I'm basically looking for long-term partners.

Even if i can't find affiliates on BHW i'd appreciate some advice on searching for great affiliates. the search tool w/n SAS sucks balls.

Since this is bhw, I'll give you a technique to attrack good affiliates at Shareasale. Before doing this, I'd like to add I've had some productive affiliates from SAS in the past.

What you want to do is establish a high EPC for your program/products, so you stand apart from those that show EPC as 0. How you go about this is up to you, but a smart lad would get his friends to sign up for a SAS account, put up links with their affid in them and start making sales ( which you would refund). Of course this will cost you a bit in fees for SAS, but it will get your EPC's up high and allow you to start to attract better affiliates where you can pick and choose which affiliates to accept, and not just coupon sites from random 3rd world countries.

There's definitely money to be made from Shareasale but I do understand why most people don't seem to have success with them.

That's quite clever. Thank you! i need to start unlocking this type of thinking.

Is there ratio/percent/dollar figure of what a "good" EPC looks like that typically attracts the good affiliates?

Are you familiar enough with the SAS portal to provide any guidance on actually searching for affiliates. all they have is this aquarium feature which isn't great

Are there things i'm not seeing as to why SAS gets such a bad rep? I mean, the lack of conversion could be attributed to a poor landing page or low quality traffic and not necessarily the product being sold right? Are there technical features of SAS that prevents traffic from converting? I would just hate to lose my enrolment fees to SAS and go elsewhere.

to all of BHW: All major affiliate networks seem to stay away from adult traffic. i have a product that would probably do well with that traffic. do you know any networks that would accept that traffic?
