Share your SAPE tips

Sape links in small quantity might still be working, didnt use it for over 4 months now, as it was getting my sites penalized, might give it another shot with different strategy.

What quantities were you using that lead to penalty?

I honestly don't think small or large quantity matters - it comes down to filtering and selection... I've not lost a site yet.

100-300 links, reason for my penalty could be that all my sites were in high competition niche(and also spammed niches), no less then 100k searches per keyword. It still works for low competition niche with 1-20k searches(according to my sape clients results), but i have not tested it on low search keywords for myself.

Maybe i used wrong word penalty, sites did not get penalized exactly but they very much froze in rankings, they stopped getting any higher from page 2-3.

That agrees with my experience, certainly. Most of my stuff is low-med competition, because nobody else thinks of the stupid sh!t I think of :p

I wouldn't call this "good filter" even a year ago. 2-3 on home page or 1 on inner page with high PR - this would be more up to date considering current googe zeal in fighting paid links.

It's weird, because the more dirty the niche is - the better it's working for me

for my bigger sites, i use sape just to boost. I mean i use my network and all regular type of links building and just boost with some really high PR links... usually its working.
I actually never saw a site getting penalized because of sape as long as it had diverse links and all.
the problem starts when people want sape to do all the work for them. while it does work for a while, its sure not safe...

but seriously.. what's a 9k kw? how did you decide its that competitive? just by hearing it got 9k searches?........
please go learn how to do kw research and report back bro
 
You are already doing a good job with filtering - there is deep science behind those rules of thumb you are using. The only clarification I would like to make is whether you are referring to exact match traffic for those two keywords? As to the number of links - it is easier to rank with fewer quality links now than with hundred of crappy links. And i did see this to be the cases even in the past.

Would you mind to tell me (or pm) how you filter the 1k pages in google? I did a lot off testing in the filter, but i did not find how to at "at least 1k pages in google index"

You can do a search on Google with following

site:domain.com

You will see the indexed pages result.
 
I've spent a lot of money in last 18 months on sape, Here's a few tips

1) Dont buy google deindexed sape
2) always check pa,da of link you're buy (there's lot of bulk pa,da checker)
3) check fake pr, many of them have redirects to boost da, pr .. be careful

use proper filters, TIC, etc

I respect your knowledge and integrity in all fronts. But I really doubt if 9 SAPE links can push you to page 1.

I have 60-70 campaigns, mine and clients, in sape but never ranked with just 9 SAPE links.

If you can share more about your case study, it would be great for community.

From 9 links how much of these links have exact anchor for kw you target?
