Mine is ugly lol. I have a 1070 and 1060 mining on an open bench. Then a 5700xt mining in my personal computer. Its like 100 MH/s all together on Dagger.

Surely there's no one here mining BTC from their house that would claim to be net positive? Unless mining and holding for a while?

I have no idea about mining but let me ask you simple qustion.

How much you paid for this setup? @majdi107
And how much it generates per month?

If people are mining on GPUs they are most likely mining Ethereum. Which can be converted to BTC pretty easily.

This is a really interesting topic.

Which currencies are actually worth mining and for those that are actually making a profit; what is your electricity cost (per kwh)?

Ethereum is 99% of the time the most profitable. I pay .12/kwh which kinda sucks, but I still make plenty!

Does it even cover the cost of electric bills? Excuse me for my lack of knowledge but it seems like a playground for big ballers not average joes with 4-5 gpus.

yes it does with proper optimization but nowadays earnings are decreasing it used to be very profitable 2-3 years ago but nowadays commission has decreased a lot and machines are expensive as hell
