Yeah for sure it takes some time - there are some peak volume times that tend to have the most action - the rest of the hours are slow so might be worth trading in the highest vol times only and doing whatever else outside of that

EU has the worst timezone with most high vol runners launching at like 1-2am
 
I started trading memecoins when I was still awake the night $Trump got published. Initially, I placed a bet on PolyMarket around the ‘Is Trump hacked’ market. After a few minutes it came up to me to use that as collateral to buy $Trump. So I was able to buy at 7 and sell at 13. By the time I woke up, it had surged to 40 and kept climbing. I later re-entered and took a loss, then shifted my focus to experimenting with trading bots.

Overall, I ended up with a modest loss of a few hundred euros—lesson money, if you will.

In traditional markets, a 25% daily profit is unheard of. But with these volatile memecoins, that potential isn’t out of the question. By renting nearby servers and using the fastest programming languages, I believe I can outpace most of the competition.

I’m serious about forming a collective to build a private trading bot because the most profitable strategies are rarely made public. If anyone’s down to take this further, DM me so we can set up a group chat and discuss the details.

I just got in on $trump the night it was launched, sold at the $melania move (dumbest move in crypto history by Trump) meme coin world in crypto will never be what it was back in spring 2021. Tbh the crypto community is horrible now, all it is are people looking for instant profit. Stick with the top altcoins and hodl longterm

Has anyone had any success with coin launches?

I think it can be profitable, but i am not sure dropping a free one on pump fun is the way to go, and the other way around, i don't want to rug pull either.

Still trying to figure out how a legit project is built, as currently all it can aim for is a super high market cap for 24 hours max, building the next thing people will hold require some lucrative incentives and strong conviction (and trust in the meme space is at all time low)

Blindsided by greed!

Solana is now $150 (it was $260-290 when $TRUMP launched)

Memecoins are dry
Volume is weak
Crime cycle

I easily made 6-7 figures with memecoins and got chopped up and spat out by the markets.

Humbling experience.

If I could change anything it would be taking MORE profits

Not just selling crypto to crypto but taking profit actually taking the money on the screen into money in my ‘physical’ wallet.

Stabling weekly/biweekly as well to reduce sol price fluctuation.

I’m a good trader with shit discipline plus being Australian all of us are born with severe gambling tendencies.

Assuming the coin I am up 2,000% on is ready for another 2,000% is what got me rekt.

I did make some people a lot of money and even tipped $25,000 to randoms online during absolute peak euphoria. Definitely won’t do that again lol.

This memecoin cycle was 100% easier than 2021s stint but at the same time the cycle was rather volatile and fast paced. You HAD to know what you were doing or you got rekt like I and many others when the music stopped.

Did I make life changing gains? Yes

Did my life change? No

Profit taking and overcoming greed / chasing mentality are my 2 biggest weaknesses this cycle.

Anyways, won’t catch me bear posting the future of finance.

Well said. I also suffer from the greed index. ;-)
I didn't pull out into stables when I should have even though my positions were relatively low at the time. Everyone was screaming "altcoin season is coming", but if you look at the technicals, there's no such evidence of such. If one relied on the data alone, we would have known to pull out into stables as a large descending triangle was forming. Fortunately we're at a very rock solid support now, so it's time to accumulate.

I actually sold off my whole portfolio when Bitcoin hit its all-time high. Now that it's pulled back, I've only bought Bitcoin. I'm thinking about adding some altcoins, but strictly from the top 30 list.
