Well I'll go first

0. Build the necessary social media profiles

1. Build 40 to 50 profile links on high DA sites and submit to a paid indexer

2. Build 20 to 25 web 2.0s with short articles and unique ones. Again submit to paid indexer

3. Local citations around 20 to 30. Submit to indexer

4. Build some social signals and sometimes a press release

All the above done in the first month of link building..indexer I keep tracking to ensure links are getting picked up

5. Niche edits 5 to 10 depending on budget

6. 4 to 5 PBNs on auctioned domains

7. 2 to 3 guest posts

I ll add couple of PBN s more in the months to come. The above generally gets me to page 2 and then I just Amp up the guests posts a bit

And that's it!

Would like to know your approach as well

Thanks guys !

I do something similar, but don't bother with social media profiles.

What links do you send to the homepage and what links do you send to the inner pages?

Profiles and Web 2.0 to Homepage and Citations to Inner Pages?

Looks good. Yeah also interested in what links you create for the inner / location pages.

I post every 3 days, i have found when i stop posting, my traffic goes down. .Go figure!

Yes, i do social signals just once in the beginning of the link-building process and then forget about it...

Profiles and Web 2.0 to 80% to the home page and 20% to an inner page

at the outset of the link- building i don't bother with location pages. in fact i dont even build them... i set out to rank the homepage to the area i need too and once that is achieved I work on the other locations...

Hi.

I also use 301 redirects, links from Edu sites (links from scholarship pages), and crowd marketing to get both links and traffic.

If this is a site of a local company, then I focus on local citations (links from regional directories, Links from regional media, links from blogs or sites in the desired region, text mentions of the company's NAP(name, address, phone)), as well as on creating a good reputation and reviews in GMB.

I hope this information is useful for you.

Yes it does. I will check out this method.

For directories are the free directories good enough or have you seen any benefit from paid ones (such as speed in live listing, Anchor texts etc )

also are you guys doing PBN's for local SEO or in your areas guests posts and niche edits are good enough?

1.) Citations en massé

- big data aggregators
- directories
- rich media (video + image)
- social

2) Web 2.0s (tumblr, wordpress, overblog et al.) with local markers such as map embeds, driving directions, NAP and GMB CID link.
---> power these up with tier 2 links

3.) A real and good press release with NAP, map embed and complementary branded homepage or location page link (if allowed). This should land you on sites like marketwatch, yahoo, APNews or similar.

4.) Guest Posts / link insertions - if possible with NAP and brand mention to your location pages. In a perfect world, only from sites with relevant traffic (but it's not a must). Scale these as much as you can.

5.) HARO for brand mentions and powerhouse links (homepage mostly). Tedious to acquire and track, but so worthwhile and free.

6.) Quality PBNs with localized content, map embeds, NAP and exact kw anchor to your location/service pages.
---> power them up with tier 2 links

7.) Crowd links on relevant (local) forums, Q/A platforms. Use these for anchor and link diversity.

Worth a try, but kinda meh for smaller local niches: Guestographics.

Not worth it, imo: Google cloud stacks or irrelevant map embeds.

Yep! We do build Niche Relevant PBNs and treat them as Real sites (Putting Fresh content every now n then, Social media profiles, Renewing them every year, Premium themes, logos etc)..
