Hi There, pardon my English so bad, I am not speaking English every day.
I'm working in online media, our niche is financial and I'm sitting here as SEO Manager. I'm working alone here with two hands, two eyes and two ears. But thank God, my superior in other country push me up to chase the number every month and giving some ideas to apply.
My daily routine gives content writer ideas, topic, and keywords to write. I never buy links since I'm working here eight months ago, and before I'm joined here, backlinks are really good. They make a content partnership with notorious online media in my country. Our authority backlinks pretty well.. but it still not enough delivering the millions per month from organic search.
When I joined here doing a tehnical audit, the website really crap. Many things should be fixing like index-follow, duplicate meta title, broken links, etc. I open SEMrush and Alexa Audit I found what should be fixing. So i compile all of those issues and addressing with the tech team and they finalize my request like a month or two.
Oh ya, I forgot, in December and March we held blogging competitions. My first participant is 68 and the second one is 100.. Most of metrics domain really low, even DA 2 lol. But that's OK, my CMO said "Google love natural links".
So let's picture speak it self:
Backlinks statistics before i join are flat, no link building. I only held two times blogging competitions and our backlinks increasing dramatically organically.
Site indexing:
Our indexing in google just 16.300. Currently, we produce 15-20 articles per day, 4 content writers, and 4 editors. Our words around 800-1000 words in average.
Ahrefs Statistics:
Our organic traffic and organic keywords increase every month. In the beginning of June, our traffic declining so bad because of seasonal and went back normal after the holiday is ends.
Google Analytics:
Our traffic drop in February blaming those month only 28 days.
And the last things, I don't give a f*** with Google algorithms. We still get more traffic.
Tip:
1. To beat competitors, i won't exceed words. If competitors have 3000 words, i only ask the writer with 800-1000 words.
2. URL as a keyword.. this is optional, but using permalink as keyword really works for me
3. Density keywords only 4, max 5.
4. Put keywords in the first 100 words
5. External links to relevant giant sites.
6. Internal linking with best performance relevance articles
7. Use alt text image
8. Use proper header (I'm sure you know about this)
9. Tweaking old content, doing refresh with proper header and internal linking.
10. Stealing competitors keywords
It's done... I dont know you believe or not, but it's true... i'm not using PBN or other paid link building. It's up to you want to believe or not
. Don't PM'd me asking my domain because I would never mention it.
My thought:
Don't put your hopes with links, you can do the best without it. If competitors throw money with links, this is our chance to optimize content.
Cheers,
