I didn’t make any New Year’s resolutions but I have realized my bad habit of procrastinating as magnified most of my problems. Share any tips you have please and thank you

you just have to actually think
everyone says stuff like the guy before but thats not what you are thinking about at the time

I find this software helpful: Goalscape + Todoist. Goalscape for the overall targets, todoist for the respective tasks.

the trick that actually worked for me is just doing the task for 2 minutes. not finishing it, just starting. once you're in it your brain stops resisting. also turn off your phone, that thing is a procrastination machine lol

Scheduling the tasks so I don't miss anything and I'm forced to do it on time.

Create a set of tasks , which should be done (no matter what) . It can be 5-10 basic tasks .
Like replying to emails , posting on linkedin , reaching to clients on marketplaces etc

Think of it as a daily warm-up routine , it will help you stay consistent for actual work .

Break down your daily goals into small objectives and write them down. Strike them off when you achieve them. Set a timer and be disciplined.

Yeah my phone is a huge distraction. I have to stop myself from checking it in the middle of the night

Open Google Docs or Notion and write down your plan, broken into clear steps. Create a “Don’t Do” list alongside it. Treat this document like a holy book, follow it strictly. Pin the tab in your browser and revisit it regularly so you don’t forget what you set out to do.

Pomodoro Technique... For me it's the best way to kill procrastination.
