Shameless people are ruining whole Internet

Also, total number of views are far more important than total number of subscribers.

PewDiePie has around 220 million views a month. Jake Paul has 460 million. So he's essentially twice as big as PewDiePie at the moment.

And I forgot about sponsorships... They make a ton from those too. Actually I'd say $50,000 a day is conservative, which is fucking crazy considering it takes most people in the US 2 whole years to make what he earns in a single day
Don't you remember MR. GEAR? The guy that was melting everything on YouTube with a hot knife early this year/late 2016..

At his peak I saw 450 million views in 1 month..

I'm guessing he was doing $1.5 - 3 million a month while his shit was hot..
Na, I don't really follow the viral stuff on Youtube so I wouldn't know. The stuff I said was from earlier this year on the earnings of popular Youtube stars and #1 was Pewdiepie at 15 mil.

Hahaha, sometimes I wish to be in the porn niche just so I can make some ridiculous banners like that and make money with them.
I always clicked on the "You must have a tiny penis to bang these hot chicks TONIGHT!" ads too.
Speaking of which, I have a shirt I got from TShirt Hell, that says "Hung Like a Five Year Old"

I'm sure you're right though. You could put any damned thing up and laugh all the way to the bank.

Shit happens.

I hate people that create dozens of account and then spam the shit out of social media so security gets tightened every time but I can't do nothing about it so I let it go, that's the way of the internet.

Regarding the ad-blockers, I got a plug-in that blocks content for people with ad-block turned on :D

I love sites that use the blocking content for people using adblock! It makes me not waste my time on spammy sites. So, thanks for kicking me quick before I waste more time finding out its a spammy site it saves me the headache haha!

I clicked on those ads because they were highly targeted and niche relevant.

Your welcome! Because it's actually not spammy at all but it indeed keeps silly boys like yourself out. Quality over quantity and better CR h a h a

Besides, I have contests and prices that I promoted outside my website a lot of people can't resist so many will whitelist anway, that's the beauty of mankind, greedy AF. h a h a.

Don't believe much on socialblade because it is not very accurate. It says my channel makes 4x more than what it really makes, lol.

Sounds like someone is a little upset that his project isn't converting very well.

You can try it now, just activate an ad blocker. :p It's a whole different world. I'm always amazed how many ads are on the webpages nowadays, when i use a machine, which is not mine and it has no ad blocker installed.

On a more serious note: Which was first? The ads or the ad blockers? No-one cared to make (or use) any ad blocker until the ads weren't intrusive to the point where they started to seriously and negatively affect the user experience.

You can thank the existence of ad blockers to greedy webmasters and advertisers, who taught text ads aren't enough, we need blingy, moving flash ads with annoying sound possibly stuffed with malware/adware and countless popup windows. That's what pisses most people off, if there were only text ads and other non-intrusive advertising, no-one would really care to use an ad blocker.
Like when you try to read the ducking news but there's always some video following your line of sight even if you scroll down. And the video has ads, so that's why they mAke it hard to close

I can confirm that contests work. I just ran a contest for a $5 Google Play gift card in a FB group I run. You should have seen people going nuts over that prize.

It was $5.

Humanity is extremely greedy, and they will do whatever they can to win even a small prize. You build a community around this concept and you can laugh all the way to the bank.

Yeah but don't talk too much about it cuz a lot of marketers and companies are greedy AF too and I like to keep it that way gheghe

uBlock Origin user here. Sex websites pop ups that you can't close isn't really an ad ! And this women in bikini in BHW forum ...etc :D

Yeah, I believe it's the most useful tool I have ever used

There are 18 year olds on YouTube making $50,000 a day (no exaggeration) creating the most cringeworthy awful content I've ever seen in my life. And according to OP I'm antisocial and shameless because I block some ads? Nah I'm good thanks.

Just a reminder to everyone, do yourself a favour and get uBlock Origin...

For Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ublock-origin/cjpalhdlnbpafiamejdnhcphjbkeiagm?hl=en

For Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/

I can just confirm for me uBlock Origin works better than Adblock Plus.
Internet without ads is a completely different experience.
I would never buy anything from ads so I believe ad blocker is actually beneficial for marketers.

As for sites with ad block warning, promptly click on X before the page has completely loaded.
You will get the content without loading the verification plugin.
Or simplu disable javascript for that page.
Or install Anti-Adblock killer (reek). It will hide your ad blocker.

It was BlackHatters that created the need for ad-blockers, anybody remember the days when clicking on a link resulted in 10-30 pop-ups/pop-unders?
Ha ha, that reminds me of the time I was looking up Starcraft cheat codes back in 2005. I clicked on some random page 20 site and got blasted with a hundred pop-up tits of varying shapes, sizes, and colours.
