I have been looking for cheap hosting plans, while searching i came across pricelowhosting they are promising with 99% uptime. I am confused. shall i go for these type of hosting or it might be spam?
Shall i go with cheap hosting?

I would not recommend using that hosting. They might be 99% perfect. Or they might just disappear tomorrow. They are just going to be re-selling hosting from someone else I guess. They claim to be the #1 hosting company in India... and they also claim to have "100+ clients" all over India. In a country of 1.4 billion people, they have 100+ clients and are #1? No, I don't think so. I guess they haven't heard of Hostgator.in before. So, they already start off by lying to you to try to make themselves sound better.

Appreciate your response, there is no other alternate for godaddy or hostgater?.any advice on cdn hosting. My requirement is the site should have 99.9% uptime and it should load superfast.

cheap hosting will just give you problems down the road as your sites grow..

Im not an expert in hosting. I will ask mods to move this thread to the hosting section, maybe you will get better advice when it's moved there. And I suggest you also read through that section to see if anyone made any other recommendations that fit in your budget.

In some cases cheap hosting can do the job.
Namecheap does an excellent job for me, just to give one example. I got money sites in NC. Obviously if you need crazy pro support then you'll end up with something like Rackspace or a premium account at Amazon, but those are costly.

A few things..
* 99% uptime means that your host will not be online for 1 hour every 100 hours. It isn't good enough for most of the serious marketers.
* Cheap doesn't necessarily mean bad. Digital ocean offers decent vpses for as low as $5 per month. You could choose them and be happy.
*Try not to go with $12/yr hosting if you are serious. They are all craps, no matter what people might claim.

Still same suggestion for you. You will get what depends on how much you pay.
Normally cheap web hosting will come with low specification and might be loading slow if you wish to build a smooth website. What I suggest is can try go to the hosting plan that more high spec cause at least can avoid your website loading slow if many visitor come in your website in the same time.
Otherwise, you will face many problem if you go with cheap hosting, some problem like loading speed slow, overload, server always down, traffic will drop if your website not user friendly.

cheap hosting usually means slower page loading speed and that Will affect your site rankings/traffic a lot. When was the last time you browse a website that took more tan 5 seconds to load? And why would you think anyone Will do if you get cheap hosting?

Usually, I’d do anything to save money, but if there’s one area in which you shouldn’t skimp on, it’s hosting. If you get an unreliable service, your site could suffer, and that could cost you real money. So in the long term, it may be more expensive than just finding a hosting service based on their reputation not the cost of their packages.
