Well some of you guys did warn me! Been booted off Hostgator today and decided on a switch to Godaddy where I bought my domains from, got the primary domain set up but struggling adding more, just getting a shit load of copies of the primary domain. Any of you guys use Godaddy for hosting? and would like to advise me?

    Yours in deep sh*t

Hell if you ask some on here they will tell you that godaddy hosting is the worst of all hosting companies. I personally have never had a problem with them. But maybe I shouldn't speak too soon.

I have to use GoDaddy some for a client's site, and really I just don't find it user-friendly. There are ads all over the place in there, which makes me think they care about the money more than you.

However, my client, of course, is not hosting any blackhat sites and I don't ever need to contact tech support because it's simple work, so I can't rate them there.

All of my sites are on JustHost, where it uses a clean cPanel with some ads, but most of them are meant to help you out (free AdWords, Facebook, other ad credits, etc.), though I'm sure they get aff comish just like us. ;)

Anyway, tech support has always been friendly and helpful, such as one time when I traded long correspondence with one tech rep asking why I randomly couldn't connect to my MySQL suddenly after a year. It ended up being an error on my part, so I got my code fixed and he fixed some stuff on the backend for me. So great support there.

Plus there's that JustHost "exploit" on here...

Edit: vvv to the guy below me........there is a thanks button. But you're welcome!

godaddy has a new kind of shared hosting called grid hosting, its giving me better performance than hostgator for my wp blogs. On one I have 1700 visits a day and no complains whatsoever, most of the people are not aware of this kind of hosting that godaddy offers.

Avoid godaddy like the plague. They are totally not blackhat friendly and will boot you and can your domains. Avoid.

Now would be a good time to upgrade to offshore hosting. All blackhats will eventually need to be hosted offshore.
