Hi Guys,
Long time reader but I haven't yet contributed to the community. I'll give back wherever I can going forward & thanks to all the guys helping here. I've certainly learnt a lot.
I have an Instagram shadowban issue on a personal/travel influence related account. The account was opened in January of this year & was grown slowly without anything botting to 1.2k followers.
At this stage Instagress was used, but it was brief as it was shutdown within 3 weeks. I have since tried other bot options sporadically. 1 month ago I was using Instazood & engagement started to step up. Unfortunately I received 2 bans in a very short space of time from liking comments received on the page. Everything seemed relatively normal after this ban was lifted until around 1 week ago when engagemet halved.
No hashtags work at all. Only my followers are able to like the images. This isn't a case of the images not being high enough quality. They are good images which previously saw a number of reposts by large accounts. The account is being completely throttled & actually I feel this has always existed to an extent but now the situation is dire. Engagement was 30-40% and is now <10%.
I purchased a brand new phone, a brand new sim card, opened a brand new email and opened a new instagram account. I'm using the data rather than wifi to post. 2 images which i know are good (received 40k+ likes on repost accounts) have received a total of 1 likes. None of the hashtags are working again - I have checked.
The whole IG experience has become so frustrating & pretty demoralising. I'm a hard working photographer & didnt want to open a new account but caved & it seems like that too is shadowbanned. Is there anyway to recover the original account first & foremost & any thoughts as to why the second is being hampered in the same manner?
I have tried two separate breaks of 3 days when posting but continued to add stories/comments/likes. I've also sent a number of reports to Instagram in attempt to rectify the situation.
