I’m currently not in the position to put up thousands of accounts in the off-chance one of them will go viral (although I plan on it at one point). My semi-viral TR account got shadowbanned after 2 posts. Giving about 1-2 views on the most recent clips uploaded. Should I wait it out and post on another acc in the meanwhile or is this account dead and buried? Cheers!

If your account went from consistently gaining followers to suddenly losing followers permanently from one day to the next, your account likely got shadow banned. Also, monitor the views, comments and likes. All of these metrices would indicate that you are shadow banned. In fact, the simplest explanation would be: If you can just log in into your account but can't do anything else and if you get the feeling of having a banned account with the only exception that you can login, unfortunately, you are shadow banned.
In order to avoid it, you must make use of proxies - mobile-elite proxies. Also, there is nothing to worry about if you are shadow-banned. Just stop using that account for a few weeks and your shadowban would be lifted.

What exactly do you mean can't log in? I'm still gaining followers and getting likes on the viral videos but the last couple ones were just literal zero. Kinda tempted to try and upload another one in case the algorithm just didn't like the last posts

Depending on how exposed the girl was in your video it could be a “video shadowban”
it’s actually pretty easy to spot these
If your other videos keep getting views more than profile views - like if you made 1k views on all videos and just 100 profile views it means that your account isn’t shadowbanned it’s just the 2 videos “shadowbanned” they are probably flagged by tiktok - there is no need to give up on the account at this point - simply ignore them (don’t delete them and don’t set them to private just leave them there) and keep posting
