Probably yes, but just want to make sure, if I was using an account that got shadow banned, can I use the same proxy for another account and delete this one?

You can reuse the proxy, but it’s risky. If the old account was shadowbanned, the IP may be flagged. Best move: use a different proxy for the new account.

got it thanks.

There’s a high chance that your new account will be flagged because your IP received a flag after your previous account was banned. After a block, it’s best to refresh your IP and update the fingerprint in your anti-detect browser, if you’re using one.

Thanks, understood.

The safest method is always a full new setup. But if you insist on reusing the same proxy, at least rotate to a new IP and run it on a clean fingerprint.

You can try, I would give it a few days / week to do it though. If you switch over right away it might raise red fkags

Never use the same IP to create another account after an account has been banned on that IP, if you are using a residential proxy, always get a brand new proxy for a brand new account. If you are using a mobile proxy, just rotate the IP, and create the new account, and you will be fine

You can reuse the proxy, but it’s not the safest move. If that account got shadowbanned, the IP might already have some risk score attached to it.
Deleting the old account doesn’t really “reset” anything on the IP side.
If it’s a rotating/mobile proxy and you can get a fresh IP, that’s better. Otherwise the safest option is a completely new IP + clean environment for the new account.

changing the name or password won't really fix anything, the flag is usually tied to the account or behavior, not just login details

IP is only one variable - reddit flags at account + device + behavior layer. If you spin a new account on same proxy but same posting pattern, same subs, same timing + no warmup, it will get clipped again even on fresh IP. I’ve reused clean residential IPs before but only after cooling them 1-2 weeks + completely new fingerprint + different activity pattern for first 7 days. Shadowban usually means your trust score tanked - fix the behavior, not just the endpoint.

I wouldn't try to use the same configuration to bypass a shadowban.

don't reuse it... if the account got shadowbanned that ip's trust score is tanked on reddit's end. with mobile proxies you can just rotate to a fresh ip, that's the advantage. new account needs a clean ip, clean fingerprint and different behavior than whatever got the first one flagged

if proxy rotated yea, if not, better use new one. I use rotated built in in gologin, i mean price good and big pool

You probably can, but I’d play it safe honestly. If an account gets shadow banned, sometimes the IP gets a bit “flagged” too. I’d just switch to a new proxy for the next account to avoid risking it.

Yeah you can use same proxy, just better clear cookies and use new browser profile before making new account.
