From Rolling Stone:

"After a mess of leaked GNR tracks popped up a few months back, another new cut has apparently popped up online. ?Shackler?s Revenge? (which was supposed to have its premiere on the upcoming sequel to the video game ?Rock Band?) opens with a deep-voiced Axl gradually building towards his characteristic yowl, and features guitar noodling that is very likely the work of the man called Buckethead. The song?s low crunch sticks with the album?s long-stated industrial leanings, and again, layers upon layers of Axls create a particular sort of demented choir."

My 2 Cents: It's a demo and the sound quality isn't so great. Also, sounds like NIN meets Depeche Mode meets Korn.

Link probably won't last long so listen listen while you can...

Go that was awful! I'm just hoping the new Metallica album doesn't sound this horrible.

Metallica has sucked for years but they keep releasing shit regularly.

Hope Axl does not here about that. He might delay releasing it for another ten years and remix and master the whole thing. Seriously, it's getting a bit ridiculous already. Just put the dam thing out already. At this point nobody's going to care.

BAh GNR has not put out a decent album in years and as far as Metallica goes they have sucked hind end for many years now last good album they released was and justice for all, everything they released before and justice fuckin ruled everything after has sucked so hard it made my ass twitch.... and I have been listening to Metallica since they came out.

Metallica's Death Magnetic is supposed to be much like days of old, and if it sounds anything like this it should be pretty decent on album. No matter what it's way fuckin better than that GNR crap above!

You're not the only one.... :twitch:

Without Slash, it isn't GNR. It may as well be called "Axl and friends".

You're forgetting that this is a demo. Wouldn't be that hard for Metallica to at least sound as good as this considering the thing isn't even mixed. One would hope at least...then again I puked when I heard Whiskey In The Jar...Poor Phil Lynott.
