Hey BHW! It's been a few years since I've logged on, and now I'm back. Basically, I took all the info I learned from this site to start several small businesses (that never went anywhere). So now I have about 10...yes TEN businesses I have to run. Each make $100+ a month. That's fine by me, because cost of living here is super low, and now I work from home.

But seriously, why the hell can't I just stick with ONE thing? Does anyone have this problem? I get so damn excited to start a project and then I read about something cool in BHW and start a new project based off of that, and so on. I'm currently writing a small 20 page ebook on the methods that I use to make a living from home. I am only TWO pages from finishing, and I already feel like starting a new project.

Now, you can't say I'm a quitter. Maybe I'm just a half-asser? Anywho, it would be super nice to just focus on ONE of my businesses, and quit the others, AND still make what I do each month. How do you stay focused? Do you hire people to run your smaller businesses so you can focus on the important ones? Or am I one of the few people that actually try to juggle TEN businesses?

Oh and hello from Wisconsin :D

The key is Focus. You need to define what it is that you want to work on and switch off all distractions. This is not as easy as it sounds because we get a rush from opening email and reading about new money making methods. Try switching off your internet for short periods of time and focusing on a specific task. Reward yourself when the task is finished by allowing yourself to check your email and read BHW.

Hmmm.. it didn't work. I guess I'm not a mod

Being aware of a problem you have is the first step to dealing with it. Set up a system for yourself that will prevent you from running these habits on autopilot. For example, if you know having extra money on you and going out means your willpower is going to falter and have you spend it, prepare in advance to not bring any.

If you know you're going to jump to a new project, make a decision beforehand that you will stick to the current project for x amount of time if it produces x amount of results. Make decisions and set rules to follow. I hope you can make decisions and set rules, if not, not sure what else to say. These 2 are pretty important for running businesses.

i live with a severe ADHD and it used to make me jump from one project to the next without finishing any but ever since i got married and started my herbal medication things got a lot better although i'm still unable to write a 200 words article but i manage to do my daily tasks that i set to my self using a software. i just stick to the plan and i blocked facebook + youtube + anything to do with football on my laptop. so basically im on it to work for 6h daily. and after that i'm free to do whatever the fk i want.
