    hi guys,

if i would create 20 web20s from e.g. blogspot or another "free blog hoster", would this count as 20 backlinks from different domains or would it count as 20 backlinks from the same domain as these web20s hosters are usually generating subdomains for their clients?

if it counts as same domain, then its useless for seo, right?

    thanks in advance

i have tested this before, and it works fine for the low-medium competition but it will count as one referring domain, it will help some how!

It might actually count as 40. A lot of blogs create not only a link on their "home" page but also create a specific url e.g.
    madeupblogsite.blog.com and also madeupblogsite.blog.com/completelymadeupurl

Therefore you will actually get 2 for each post you make. These will show up to the big G as coming from the same domain and also, more annoyingly, as linking to the same url of yours using the same anchor/keywords.

It may count as multiple, but in hindsight you won't pass a manual review for those links - it could look quite sketchy!

Do both for diversity, get multiple links from each platform.

How long does it usually take for the link to take effect? I have 2.0 linking and anchored to my website but google webmaster tools doesn't have it listed. Anyone care to chime in?

If the platforms are different, then no worries. Build 1 link from each platform.
