Hello,

I wanted to know if making several 301 redirects from different domains to the same website was harmful or beneficial SEO-wise? I hear different opinions out there, so I wanted to make sure I had the right answer. Thanks.

1-2 redirects is OK, but several (6+ for example) might be a problem. Not sure about 3-5, though...
 
Several re directs from a single domains will affect your site.
 
1-2 redirects are generally fine and will not cause issues. Redirect chains with 3-5 hops may start to impact performance and SEO, depending on the site's complexity. Anything beyond 5+ redirects, for example 6+ is risky and could harm both user experience and search engine crawling. It's always better to keep redirects to a minimum and point them straight to the final page.
 
If the domains are clean then 3 to 5 redirections are okay.
 
Multiple redirects will affect your site .If you are redirecting low-quality, irrelevant domains this can hurt your SEO efforts .

More than 3 can be a site speed problem.

301 redirects can help if the domains are relevant and have clean backlinks. Spammy or irrelevant redirects can harm SEO. Use them wisely and ensure quality.
