Is there a guide on how to setup up wordpress, other than the one on the site? Or can anyone assist me in doing so? It's just too complicated for a newbie like me. My main objective is obviously to autoblog, but I can't even start up wordpress. I understand you have to create a database with mysql and phpmyadmin (I prefer phpmyadmin because it's free). But simply installing phpmyadmin is confusing. I've spent a while trying to figure this out, and none of the guides actually explain what to do. All I know is that I must create a config file and connect it to my mysql database. And i'm still not sure how to connect mysql to phpmyadmin and how to connect phpmyadmin to wordpress so I can finally start autblogging. Will give thanks to anyone that can help.

If you want to install it on your own server and if ur using linux:
download xampp http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp-linux.html
extract it in "/opt/" directory
run "/opt/lampp/lampp start" then "/opt/lampp/lampp security" and set passwords for ftp and mysql and it's installed.
Now go to hxxp://yourdomain/phpmyadmin/ and create your database, upload wordpress to /opt/lampp/htdocs and after that you just install wordpress from brower in 2 steps.

You are on the wrong rail, man. You obviously even do not understand that it is completely useless if somebody assists you. Things to setup an autoblog are much more difficult than setting up wordpress and require some understanding of the whole. Really: try to understand the basics. You are wasting your time.
What is a must: basic linux knowledge, very basic php knowledge. Try to install linux on virtual machine on your computer, try to work with apache, etc. Then come back.

Since it is free, you can practice setting up wordpress there. You can also practice setting up an e-mail account attached to your domain, redirecting domains, etc.

Well just search google is my best advice..Theres hundreds of websites dedicated to just using wordpress and all of its amazing features. Also just install it and do some test blogs first after you use it long enought and read about the features you will become more familiar with them and eventually be a wp guru.
