I recommend if your new to website building to use WordPress because of its easy learning curve.

You'll first need a VPS at a decent hosting provider (bluehost) and you can start using a free tracker like Prosper202. You can also send me a message and I'll help you out with this, definitely.
When starting out would you say it is absolutely necessary to have hosting for each landing page? How much would it hurt to use the free wordpress (wordpress.'sitename') style sites as a landing page?
Are there any methods that are cheaper for creating landing pages? I'm not quite ready to sink money into high cost software for creating landing pages.
