setting up web 2.0's

So with SB down i thought it would be a good time to set up some web 2.0's. I am new to this so i wanted to get some input on whether I was doing it correctly. So far for the 2nd tier sites I have been setting up wordpressdotcom, weebly, and doodlekit pages. I am using unique articles that I have a copywriter do for these sites. I add a couple of random images and link them back to my domain and a couple of internal pages on some decent anchor text. I was going to start the 3 rd tier pretty soon and I was wondering, can I use spun articles for 3rd tiers? It would make my life so much easier if I could. I was going to use two 3rd tiers to each of the 2nd tiers.

Hey duffers5000, I just wanted to say thanks for sharing this, the information there is some of the most complete you can find.

Spun articles on your third tier is more than okay. Remember, people still use them on tier 1. (Although I would never)
