Hi all,

I am looking for a way to manage several Wordpress websites. Also I want to manage new Wordpress websites.

So putting the theme on a website and all plugins I want to have on the blog which I use on all blogs. The basic SEO plugins and other must have plugins.

How can I manage this and also how can I manage all the websites in an easy way. So putting new articles online and stuff. I am looking for a cheap or free way of doing this.

PS. Let me know your most important wordpress plugins! :)

You can try this plugin

I thought long about the best way to do this a little while ago and after looking into a few solutions I ended up coding a simple system to do this.

It's basically a script that copies the database for one of my existing wordpress sites and then changes the site URL and table names for the new site. It's quite simple, you only need to change the domain url in a few places in the cloned database tables, and then change a few options. You can also use the exact same files by just adding a switch in wp-config.

The above requires some programming knowledge and a basic understanding of wordpress. If you want something that is simple, I came across managewp which looks promising, but is pretty expensive if you have a lot of sites.
