I am helping a friend set up an affiliate network for his business. As a bonus he will give me exclusivity for my preferred channel and a better payout for his products.
I am struggling to find a decent affiliate platform/software. I have run into quite a few bad ones so far and the ones I know are good are a bit too expensive I think. I dont want him to pay middlemen like CJ/Awin etc. And would rather pay a monthly fee for a solid affiliate software with good support, reporting, payment handling etc.
Must have S2S/Postback option to postback to affiliate's servers. I am a bit shocked by how few affiliate software platforms actually answer prospective clients. Most of them seem to ignore me completely, it's like they don't like money.
So far I have checked:
- Everflow (really like this from affiliate side, easy to setup postbacks, pull offers etc). - Negatives (no answer from anyone), a little on the higher price range we want to spend.
- TUNE (formerly hasoffers) - great, i have friends working there, awesome support - Negatives probably the most expensive of all
- Rewardful - had a call, guy didnt know what postbacks are, s2s, clickIDs, he had never heard of any of it. Needless to say they dont support any reporting back to external server, so no go.
- Afftrack - looks great on paper, tried to setup test account. It's been over a week now, no answer to support tickets, no setup of my test instance, no one answers phone calls. Last post on twitter was in like 2016. Starting to wonder if they still are even around or if their website is just a shell. It's too bad, price looked good and features had what I wanted.
I know there are alot more. We dont need anything crazy fancy as they only have 1 major product they will focus on. We just need basic postback reporting via clickID and that they actually answer emails/phonecalls. Is that so much to ask in 2020?
Anyone have any advice? Would prefer something that can start out small, we can always switch to TUNE or Everflow once we start getting some sales and can pay for it.
