Hi PBNers,
I'm looking at setting up a UK PBN and was wondering if anyone had any advice please? I've had a small one in the past but I was linking directly to my money sites with none relevant sites directly from the homepage (and they where mostly single page sites) so I'm going to start again. Few questions if you would be so kind...
1. Does Google keep tabs on WHOIS information for the UK? As my dropcatcher registers these under the same registration name now. I do try and change it up but can get expensive.
2. If the domain drops and is created again (you can't do what Godaddy Auctions does for the US in the UK) do you think Google monitors this and clears any juice the domain can give now?
3. Since May 21 2014 (Panda) I've noticed my PBN is not passing or helping gain rankings in google.co.uk at all really. Do you think Google got wise on UK PBN and detects them via whois?
4. Some of my old UK domains are not showing any results when doing a search for 'site:domain.co.uk' in Google UK (only 2 out of 15). I take it this domain has be deindexed? If so, am I wise removing all links from that to my money site?
5. I've just read if the links aren't revelant it will probably pass on a penalty. Is this true if a site has two links with none relevant content or would it take much more?
6. If I do get a penalty regarding point 5, am I wise removing all none relevant links I know about to fix the money site?
7. Some domains in the old PBN have Pagerank of N/A, is this a warning sign?
Thanks for your help everyone, I used to kick arse with my UK pbn but since Panda update it's not going very well.
Will be happy for ANY advice you can give. If you cover all the points I'll invite you round for Christmas dinner (or the holiday season depending on your beliefs)
I'm sure lots of UK PBNers will benefit from this thread too.
