Setting proxy to IE only

Hi

Can someone tell me how I can set my Internet Explorer to 1 Proxy but leave for Chrome and Firefox?. Having an issue with a site that runs off IE so need to keep it different from the rest. I saw a guide for doing it for Chrome but not sure what happens if you only want to set it to IE.

Any help appreciated.

i don't get it, do you want to configure IE to use a proxy, but leave Chrome and Firefox untouched?

you can try freecap/proxycap/sockscap/proxy firewall

everyone use internet settings specially u can change firefox settings with plugin but chrome and IE will be mostly same ip
 
Does that not just give all my browsers the same proxy as the one I have just entered into IE though?

I will have a look at the suggestions you have made also to see what they are about.

they are good for forcing applications through a given proxy
you can use applications w/o proxy support w/ proxies and you don't have to tunnel your whole traffic through a VPN for instance, so it's something you're looking for, i'm just not sure if they work with the latest IE or not, because most of these tools are discontinued, but you'll tell us :)

i've used these tools a lot on imageboards with image dumper applications when there were no captchas
 
If it's a private proxy you should just be able to set it in each of you browser settings. I use different proxies for firefox and explorer.
 
You can change the user agent to IE (or FF or Chrome) using Proxy Tool FF Addon.

Does your proxies work with proxycap, widecap, proxifier and similar software? Because my current ones do not and the proxy provider said is nothiing wrong with the proxies but a bug in those tools :confused:

As you can see in the video tutorial YES our proxies are working great with proxycap, widecap and proxifier.
