Setting No County in Webmaster Tools

I have tried as soon as i set UK /Us or which ever country in webmaster tools ,Google will give me lot better serps in that specific country

but if i am trying to target a Global search , does it works the same way that i leave it open ?

It will probably take longer to get up in the SERP's simply because it is drawing from the entire world and not just a single country

there is nothing like '' global search '' , everything on google search engine works on local actually . Setting the option on the webmaster tools it's helping you when you wanna do some changes from the pre-defined choose already made . Only way to leave the option '' unchecked '' and give to the google the option to treat the domain without this it's to use .com / .org ( general tlds most of them ) and don't touch it . For example domains from co.uk will be set automatically to uk , and dot us will be set automatically for us ... it's quite normal I think .
