Set your own commission? Thoughts?

Hey bhw members,

What do you think about the idea of setting your own commission for the product you are promoting?

E.g. lets say the Software owner wants 50$ for each sale he makes- you can set your own affiliate commision/sales price.
As long as the seller gets his 50$ everything should be fine right?

What are you guys thinking about that kind of system where you decide your % ?

It doesnt make sense..wont every1 just set max commision?

Well if you can make a sale than its a win - if not its a loss for both.


Hmm what about making a cap of 300% of the product price. Thats the max affiliate commission you can get (150$ ---> meaning 100$ commissiomn)
