i sometimes see posts where people are saying, you need to set up each website with its unique ip address, what does it mean?

Does it mean, I need to set up each website on a different server host, or can this be done with a proxy?

Or does it just mean that every time I access, or login to that site, I need to do it from a unique ip address, that is, I can use a proxy?

No you can host multiple websites on single host but you need to ask your hosting provider for dedicated ip for each website.

I think if you webmaster, your 1 choice can true but if you are member join site PTC,PTP... 2 choice can true

One host can have more than one ip. However I don't know the reason for additional ip. To avoid G mass ban?

By setting up of more IP address in your PC. This can be done by adding more NIC with unique IP address in PC LAN connection properties.

More IP address can be used to manage more sites in one PC.

You don't need to set a unique ip address for each website, just carry on with single host.
By using different server it leads to kind of problems.

That is what I mean, so in order to be really safe, you would need to set up a new ip for each website, and then also, everytime, make sure when accessing a particular website, always use the same ip address that you can get from your proxy, am I thinking right?

Hosting companies can give you a unique ip for each domain for an extra pay.

Nope, same server with Unique IP's for each site. Hosting provider will give you unique IP's depends upon your need.

this really only applies when you are using mass submit tools not if you are "legitimately" making links in a more kosher manner
