Servinio Is As Bad As Hot Beer! Wanna Migrate, Help!

Hey,

I'm tired of Servinio, period. They USED TO BE one of the best hosting providers around, with a very helpful staff. Now it's, I think, they are the worst hosting I've come across since it got bought by EdgeServ! These new guys destroyed it all!

I wouldn't be so worried, but I can't even access Cpanel and my websites are taking forever to load. The other bad thing is that I have 4 hosting plans with them, with about 8 websites in total. I wanna migrate all my websites that are spread into those 4 hosting plans, but I have never done so before, so a little of help would be much appreciated!

Also, which hosting providers do you recommend? I'd like to get something similar to Servinio when it comes to payment, that you can pay quarterly or bi-annually, and with somehow affordable prices :)

yep use to use them before they were bought out then they after all the problems i moved away they destroyed that company
i would use hostwinds they should be able to migrate all your sites for you
 
Hey, thanks! I've just bought the Ultimate plan with them :) Their staff responded instantly to my question, so far now it'll be a good deal as it seems ;)
 
I second hostwinds.

Contact them and they will help you migrate easily.

Haha, quite funny lol. Hostwinds took care:of the migration, buuuut there are problems with CPanel... I have submitted a ticket to Servinio hours ago. After migration is completed, I will claim a refund for my last two payments to Servinio.

I agree, I've also used servinio, but these last few days have been a pain. Site is loading really slow, I've paid the invoices as I was supposed to, but they still list them as unpaid, no response from support for 3 days now... I'll look into hostwinds as well.
 
Really, Servinio turned into the worst thing I've come across. They ERASED my support ticket regarding CPanel! Now I'm stuck with the migration process.
 
I'd been a very happy customer with Servinio for almost a year now.
But after the migration, not so much.
They used to respond to my tickets within an hour, but I've been waiting for a week now for a response to access my cpanel.
It looks like one of the servers is down, according to their live status.
And it's the lack of information from them that is driving me nuts!
Should have made a more frequent backup plan as I didn't foresee this happening...
 
What type of websites is it? wordpress? i can help you migrate if you want, i use Trentahost as hosting provider, so far so good :-)

I never tried servinio, but you did the right thing by migrating to hostwinds. :) You can use the backup option in the cpanel to take the whole backup, and then use the same option from cpanel on your other hosting where you want to restore the files. It's not that hard once you get the hang of it :) :p
 
Now a day very bad hosting , Servinio ! I even cant migrate my sites as i cant acces to account login.. no reply from support ! Before it has been good ! Upsaid completely. Not recommended at all
 
After edgeserv took over servinio - their ticket reply time went downhill.
They take a minimum of 2-3 days to reply to a simple issue.
 
Host winds and good. A2 hosting is also very good. Most providers will help you migrate but if you are having trouble hit me up and I'd be happy to help (no cost).
Of course if you can't get on your Cpanel it might be problematic.

Servinio is the worst hosting providers, stay away from them I bought 2 domains wit them and since 10 days my site loads after 1-2 minutes, they are the worst people, they have stopped responding to any new tickets, basically they have scammed me. Because I have only used them for like 1 month and site had only 2 pages. Everyone stay away from Servinio.com
 
Finally! I got my sites migrated :) They are working PERFECTLY. Hostwinds is a very nice and affordable option, they did the migration process very quickly.

Now, I'm gonna claim the refund for the last payment to Servinio, because they just made me lose money...

It's a bit too soon to arrive to a conclusion — but the service feels quite nice. My sites are loading a lot faster and support is HQ (what Servinio used to be). Also, it's extremely affordable in comparison to other hosting providers around.

But if you ask me, I'd recommend them so far now. Because support is always there to help you out and prices are very competitive.
