The BST is now full of services named "panda this" and "penguin that" all of which claim to combat the recent G updates.

BUT.....apart from one or two they all only offer 1 or 2 keywords and 1 or 2 URL's??? have they learned nothing?

One of the main aspects of the algo updates was anchor diversity, I have seen many many sites whacked because they only focused on 1 or 2 keywords, there is no way I would have a shit load of links built to my site with just 1 or 2 keyword.

Two reasons

1. It just isnt natural
2. It just isnt natural

Why are new service suppliers not taking this onboard? why is it so hard for them to provide an unlimited keyword and url option.

Confuses me, it really does.

I agree with you. Use more kws, even some you dont want to rank for, like your domain name or "visit here" or "click here" which would be more natural . Google is counting links differently than before and taking note of on page content more than before.

Thats the future . And if they want to last in business they should consider what they said .

Gone are the day when you can say I am giving x number of links , people want to see results .

Exactly. There is almost no service that allows more than 2 urls and 3 kws per url.

Everyone focuses on links from this platform, that platform but no one talks about inner backlinks (multiple urls) and different anchor texts.

I think it's more like a ratio, in my service I offer 25 WEB 2.0 network with unique content and I accept up to 2 urls and 3 keywords per url. If you used the maximum 6 keywords that means each keyword will appear 4 times.

Also you should not depend on one BST only, you can use multiple services and pick different keywords for each one of them

This is where services need to be going. A service with one url and 50 keywords would be very helpful. Really, whoever comes out with this first is going to be making some coin b/c using only a few keywords just doesn't work anymore.

The rebuttal to this is that you won't see immediate results and this is true and the buyer should know this, this type of service is purchased knowing that your site is NOT going to go from #50 to #5 in a week.

Agreed, seems like some of these service providers have not been reading up on the recent penguin update.

I will offer a white hat SEO service and accept at least 10 keywords and 10 urls and I will also add generic anchor keywords like "click here" etc.

Watch this space if you want a quality white hat service.

Correct. With the mass focus on 1 or 2 kw's you will probably see a SERP jump quite quickly but for a long term solution its suicide, I estimate that it takes around 3 - 4 months for Google to catch up with you, that's long after you have used the service and cant pinpoint the cause.

In the meantime you have already left your positive review because you saw some positive SERP movement in the first few weeks, 12 weeks later your site gets burned.

Other people see your positive review and use the same service....good business for the service providers but bad news for your site.

hey manny, my site has almost recovered. not sure if its due to my efforts or it was a 90 day slap but its now back up to position 13 (it was at 6 before the slap) I will catch up with you on skype and tell you what I have been doing

Youve got your first customer, drop me a PM when its ready and I will give you a solid review.

What penguin?

My sites are still ranking in top3 position after 24th april 2012. I only built links with 2-3 keywords max and no generic keywords at all.

Drop me a PM if you need backlinks.

Agreed - I simply wont purchase a service that offers me a small amount of KW's

The real reason most people haven't adapted is that a typical consumer is expecting to see fast results. Most people are not willing to invest 1000s of dollars and months of time in SEO.

While he does offer unlimited URLs/KWs, he goes on to state:

Q. How many keywords should I use?

A. We recommend to stick to 3-6, but if the keywords are not particularly competitive you can even target as many as 10.

they might be using custom automated bots which do not support more than 2 kws or 2 urls

I'm accepting 1-10 urls and their keywords after Latest penguin update..Drop me a pm if you're interested in my services

It is not the services fault, guys or gals. It is easy to blame it on the services but it was YOU that gave them the damn keywords. The reason that they do not is that it adds to their cost and yours. People buy on price point most of the time but not always.

Quit blaming the services as most of the fault lies with you. They tell you what you are going to get and one month use your keywords and the next use click here. Keyword diversity is your responsibility, all they provide you with is links. Is that so hard to figure out?

Now if you are going to whine about the expense then learn to do it yourself.

I've noticed this - Hoping this will change soon ....

The Supernova 2.0 service is pretty Penguin friendly, good value for $60 too.

Hopefully more will follow suit so I can start spending $$$ again.

What a load of rubbish.

You think that swapping 1 or 2 keywords around each month is going to give you diversity? and where is anyone blaming anyone on here, does it mention blame anywhere? the thread is about services not offering enough diversity.. nothing to do with blame.

if a service is building 2000 links in a month on 1 keyword and you think that by swapping over to another keyword in month 2 will offer a natural link diversity then you are talking utter rubbish and quite clearly have no idea what you are talking about.

and who mentioned whining about expenses, have you just made a post up in your head or even read the original post...fool

plus it seems that everyone else but you seems to agree.

Yeah, not sure why you think anyone is blaming anyone here. We are simply talking about what we would like to see in the BST section and what sort of services we think would be best to purchase.

Everyone talks about evolving your seo tactics after google updates and this seems to be the evolution that needs to occur.
