Service's on BHW Just Keep Getting Cheaper and Cheaper [PROBLEM]

Its dumb to undercut in the first place especially by a lot. Think of it like this, if people are aleady buying a service that is expensive why would you undercut so badly? Only person you rip off is yourself really. Its great to undercut a bit to keep prices competitive but dont offer BS.

Exactly, Lot of people who complaint here are the one's who lose sales either because their services are expensive or they couldn't compete with others. And in a open marketplace, it's strange that people want to curb the competition by this way and think it's constructive.

And I don't understand how in the world reselling a service like SAPE is UNIQUE? And copying that irks people.

And when I said that BHW was becoming more commercial everyone was confused.

Nevertheless, I can't really comment because I've not used many services recently but I can only imagine that the ones complaining the most are the ones losing sales.

So basically you're saying that just because you were the first to sell a SAPE link building service it means that no one else should be able to do so?

Let the free market decided. If the service is crap the reviews will destroy the service. Free market always wins, don't try to control it. The main reason I buy here is because there are always honest reviews.

If your service is quality people will pay for it, there is nothing to worry about here.

Have you not seen the reviews people give for review copies? "hurr durr I got a report"

Just because something is cheap doesn't mean it should be rejected or removed from the marketplace. Let capitalism run it's course.

Erm well it was unique at the time (the idea of selling it on english market places) because no one else was doing it?? Derp... But hey this is not what this thread was about was it.

I look at it from the customers perspective because I never had a BST here yet,
So to use the example above, I never buy the "honda" because it's always crap and will probably do more damage than help but neither the "bentley" because it's more than likely overpriced and the only + it has it's a prettier sales page than the others so you'll never get what you expect from it.
I always try to go with an "audi" and I rarely get disappointed. This applies to shopping offline too ...

Sadly this is a reality! one posts his BOMBASTIC review today and the other the next day! I learned a thing: Never trust a review by a BST seller never!

i would agree with this i tried service for about $100 and when receiving the report was crab done ,
and didn't get serp improve as well , the service was full with positive reviews .... sometimes the seller
have a lot of friends and they like to help him for quick cash .

If people are so dumb as to not have the brain capacity to come up with their own pretty simple ideas that they need to jack others well thats a whole other debate and wasn't my point in the initial post...

Define their own ideas.

What is new to you, may be old to someone else who's already been doing the same thing but hasn't thought or didn't want to sell it as a service.

Building Web 2.0 properties? No single idea can be credited/attributed to a single person. I'm sure lots of people were building Web 2.0 properties even before these things were being talked about as widely as they are now. Not everyone manages to create a service out of their ideas, or not all of them want to but once they see someone else doing it, why can't they? Because someone else was first? lol

Did MySpace cry to Facebook? You can say, oh but it's different. Down to the core, it's the same.

Yeah, some of the reviews suck ass. They get a discount and won't even bother writing a proper review.

I must say that's happened to me once, I got a review copy of something, it was a long time ago, and I didn't write a review at all. But the whole thing was delayed and by the time I received what I was meant to receive I was unavailable, so it wasn't exactly my fault. When I got back I completely forgot about the service. Not that it was any good.

So true.

Either that, or people just can't tell the difference between a quality service and a shit one.

Define? lol Shit my points and views are pretty clear here man I think anyone can understand what I'm saying, if you can't understand them that's your problem. I'm not about to get into some long winded back and forth with you to feed your lounge warrior syndrome, I have more important stuff to be doing with my time...

But to all buyers - Read the Reviews (real ones) and look at the quality they will show you what services work and are worth spending your money on, its simple really.

Yes, some are getting cheaper, and some are getting more expensive.

It really comes down to ones self judgement. Regardless of the prices, there are good bst, and there are bad ones. You have to do your own research and read the bst thoroughly for positive and negative reviews. I really pay attention to the negative ones, to see how they handle them.

I blame the lack of sales psychology for "undertow pricing". People hire "writers" to write copy, which in return really just sucks. Now some BSTS (less than 100 or so) have good sales copy, but the rest are just "Walmart" ad style. The copy is NOT focused on a specific group and so sales are actually lower than expected. The only reason a copy cat thread does make money is because people ARE attracted to cheaper pricing by default.

Other than that, the market does determine what sales copy and actions a buyer wants to see. You can't force things to be the way you want them (monopolized by select individuals), you can only improve and better your services so your returning customers (bread and butter of your business) and your customer support are exceptionally better than your competition.

Obviously there are both good and crap services around but some people are butt hurt and they simply can't see beyond the end of their nose.

Everyone has their own perspective, some will agree, others wont.

Change is the only constant. Don't like it? Quit. Otherwise adapt and stop moaning.

That's it for me and my lounge warrior syndrome. :)

I have been purchasing sometimes 2-3 services a day for the past 3 months or so. Being a small business owner and having over 90 sites its a pain to sift through some of these services and "packages ". Im a one man operation for the most part for S.E.O tasks on all of the sites and some friends sites. I have tried to out source my work to multiple services here and offered exclusive deals to a few guys over the past 3 month, I still do to this day.
Instead of having to ask the same questions over and over. Why do the MODS not break down exactly what you are getting ? Or make the provider break it down in laymans terms. At least make it a point to say something like "this is spun content pointed directly at the site " Like when you buy bonded gold , if its gold bonded you have to say gold bonded clearly . Not everyone knows what gold bonded is, but a jeweler has to inform you before you purchase either way. There are a few things that I think most will agree on what is considered "risky" or blackhat . Maybe that should be informed about all services . Including what is considered a risky linking scheme or a black hat service. (spinning ,footer links stuff like that ) I know some do provide that info but why not make all ? I have noticed some negative comments on sales threads ,when if you look at what they purchased ,that was the risk involved with that service . The buyer just didnt know that because they didnt read it well or just didnt understand what they were buying . This could stop a lot of disputes.
Point Im trying to make here is maybe there should be a few things in place pointed out clearly on the sales thread for all who post . I spend 10 hours a day waiting for a reply from these sellers for the same 5 or 6 questions and still most beat around the bush or just lie . I have had senuke pointed directly at some of my site with horrible spun crap , scrapebox 5000 links all sent to index in a day , sape links with n/a page rank and payed for links in a deindexed blog network and told it will still pass juice ..true story, Only after sending reports from spy glass, ahrefs or whatever then I get reimbursed
Maybe one of the 'good' service providers here can start a thread on what to look for in a "package " and clear up what you are really getting sometimes here . Sometimes it was my fault for not reading the fine print, but my first few orders I didnt think some of these services would pass a mods inspection.
If I purchase a 5$ job I know what to expect , but when I pay 100$ and up I would think some of these services would have a quality filter in place or at least state clearly what im paying for.

It happens on ebay(Less price for the same quantity), it happens in Fiverr(More quantity here for the same price). You can't do much apart from providing rock solid service where your buyers would come back to you.

if this continue .. one day BHW = FIVERR :)

I think you mean BHW = digitalpoint.

The BST section turning into digital point is perhaps the worst thing that could happen. A 'market' where there's substantially more sellers than buyers, and everyone begs for free review copies (and never posts reviews). I don't think that'll happen here as long as it remains a free open market where there's no excessive regulation by a evil know-it-all admin and prices are determined by consumers (who are smart enough to read reviews before purchasing a $200/mth product that doesn't work).
