Service providers on BHW going down hill

I've used quite a few of the services from the services section and initially they were all very punctual and with good communication, delivering what they said and on time.

However, in the last month of so I've ordered 3 services (ranging from comments to likes) and all have been appalling and took over 3 times the period to complete than they said they would (and I'm still waiting on one to even start).

I don't want to bring specific users into this thread but it seems like service is posted, get's approved then the service quickly deteriorates. Makes me very wary of using anyone on here for link building etc etc.

Well,maybe they have too many orders then they can process,it's understandeble if it's a succes.
A too fast groing customer base can consume too much time,there are only 24hr in a day you know...;)
 
Well sorry to hear that, really.
I must say I had mostly (85%) great experience with the service providers on this site, I have a list of a few of them I've been using over a year and I thrust them with my sites. But I still do read the whole sales thread before buying and I gave up on a service more then a few times when I saw that service provider either doesn't have a great communication or acts unprofessional in his sales thread, despite having good results in the SERPs.
 
well Larry, that's because i'm not selling anything yet:)

anyway, you'r right. People that can't respect a TAT should get a neg rep

If that's the case then they shouldn't take the orders, it's the worst defense for poor service I've ever heard!
 
I've had the same experience. There aren't many really good service providers there anymore.

If you have problems with a service that you can't resolve with the seller feel free to contact a staff member here for help. Sometimes these delays and other issues can be chalked up to a misunderstanding. If you are having a consistent problem with an approved service provider here we need to know about it or else there's very little we can do to help you.

That being said, I think it's unfair to generalize and say that all services on BHW are going downhill. Services are carefully reviewed and sellers have to meet a minimum set of requirements to qualify for a thread in the BST section. Hundreds of low-quality services are passed over by the staff solely for the benefit of the membership here. We also ave an iTrader system and strongly encourage buyer reviews in BST threads.

If you need any assistance mediating an issue we are always here to help.

Great replay, makes me feel much more at ease when dropping a few hundred $ for a service. Nice to see you mods working around the clock to make this a safe community
 
some services do need more time recently, true. But the good thing is all those services that took longer than described gave me a free package for the waiting time :)
 
Perhaps I've just had a bad run of late :)

I wasn't suggesting all, in fact there are some good ones out there.
 
~~ Sometimes you get bored and don't want to work, but you still do it, just a few days later. Or you just get too many orders. And when you work 16h/day everyday, after some time you will need a big break
Patience is your friend, especially when working with freelancers
