Servers using CyberPanel has been affected with 0 Day

I am using CyberPanel on 5 of my VM's. Currently hosting 5 different websites, luckily I had completely snapshots of the VM's and waking up was a nightmare

Luckily fixed the issues with community help.

This has been my 5th 0 day experience sadly.

I have no idea, I only use WordPress panels like Runcloud, FlyWP and SpinupWP aimed at WordPress.

So how do you know if you have been affected? I had a few static websites running on an old VPS with CyberPanel that i haven't touched in months. Upon checking the websites and files, nothing strange seemed to happen to them.

Few of my servers had encrypted files also CPU blast to 100%. Weird services, prolly crypto mining.

You can utilize DirectAdmin or other open source alternatives. Ensure, they are regularly updated.

Just virtual machines. I already switched to CloudPanel a better Panel for me and it's free
